COUNTRY SUNDAY BENEFIT FOR OLD TOWN FAMILY
Four year old Phebe Guido has a long, hard road ahead. The Old Town
preschooler recently lost her right foot
and lower leg to diabetes, a life
threatening disorder her parents had
no reason to suspect was at work in
their lively youngest child.
Phebe's medical emergency has thrown her family into crisis and their finances into chaos.
Phebe is stable enough now to have
moved out of the intensive care unit
and onto the regular pediatric floor at
the hospital.
John Guido said he no idea as to how long his daughter will be hospitalized or what is in her future.
He is grateful that through his labor
union he has been able to secure
health insurance for his family for at least a few months, but does not know the limits of that coverage, or the deductibles, co-payments or other out of pocket spending that will be required by the plan. John has recently been laid off from his job and doen't know when he'll return back to work.
There will be a Country Sunday Benefit on Sunday, May 30th from 1pm to 5pm. at Happy Acres Bottle Club in Alton.
Entertainment will be provided by four bands, The Mainely Country Band, Country Mist, The Higgins Family and The Kayla Wass Band.
Special guest MC's for the afternoon

will be local radio personalities, Paul
and Kat from "Paul & Kat In The
Morning" on Maine's Newest Country
Leader, the All New Bear.
